Now
celebrating 73 years, this is the only professional equity theater on
Cape Cod. Bette Davis, Henry Fonda, Ethel Barrymore, Humphrey Bogart,
Gertrude Lawrence, Shirley Booth, and Gregory Peck have all appeared
in this theater. The cinema contains the world's largest indoor
mural, a heavenly fantasy by Rockwell Kent and Jo
Mielziner.

Now in its'
48th season, this company's summer offerings include four plays as
well as workshops and classes for children. Recognized as the
nation's leading playhouse for families, it presents six shows during
the fall-spring season.

This former
toy factory houses the "Ohio University Players". The group performs
eight plays from July through August on Tuesday through Saturday. The
Players always end the season with a Shakespearean work.

Visit their school facility (on Giddiah Hill Road) for year round
classes in dance, music, and drama for all ages and all levels. Eight
weeks of summer classes include Arts Camp, ballet, musical theatre,

From late
Spring to early Fall the Cape Rep operates the Cape's only outdoor
theater just across from Nickerson State Park in East Brewster. There
is now has an indoor theater at the same site. In the 'off season'

This is the
country's oldest summer theatre; it has been in continuous operation
for over one half century. The in-the-round theatre hosts world
famous performers late June through September. Children's shows are
presented every Wednesday morning for the 4 months the Melody Tent is
